Thanks to varied professional experience in media production, the performing arts and grassroots organizing, Justin is equipped to meet any challenge or situation with novel solutions and approaches. His specialties include:

 

Event and Live Stream Production

Justin has over 13 years of experience producing live events both logistically and technologically. From popular music festivals to highly-produced webcasts for companies including TEDx, New World Symphony and MediciTV, his body of work is diverse and extensive. Justin is knowledgeable about conventional broadcast and emerging, web-based distribution platforms, as well as creating meaningful audience engagement.

 

Composition, Recording and Sound Design

In addition to being a multi instrumentalist, Justin composes original works for television, film and theater. He is a trained and experienced audio engineer who specializes in location recording and mixing, allowing artists to produce their masterpieces in comfortable, familiar surroundings. He is also an in-demand live sound engineer for traditional concerts and theater productions.

Educational Technology

Justin leads the Distance Learning and New Media projects of the New World Symphony. He is known internationally for innovative approaches to performing arts education, facilitated by technology. He additionally advises and consults with music schools and large organizations in their adoption and investments in technology. Past clients include the LA Philharmonic, MacPhail Center for Music, University of Memphis, University of Miami, Vanderbilt University.

 

Community Development

In 2013, Justin co-founded Buskerfest Miami, a performing arts nonprofit based in Miami, FL. Since that time, the organization has presented hundreds of artists and organized dozens of public events like the Buskerfest Miami Street Performance Festival and Make Music Miami. In this role, he has had the privilege to foster collaborations with numerous nonprofit, private and governmental organizations.
